1. What is Functional Medicine and how can it help in my fertility journey?

Many of today’s illnesses can be traced to a root cause – whether that be our lifestyle, our environment, and/or variations in genetic makeup to name a few. Infertility is caused by many illnesses (endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, irregular menstrual cycles, poor semen quality, etc.), which are linked to the things that we take in and do on a daily basis. The functional medicine perspective allows us to view these health issues from a wider lens, which can allow for more practical and sustainable tools to be used in shifting a person out of imbalance and dysfunction.

2. I have a diagnosed illness and I am taking several medications. Can I still go on the Roadmap?

Yes, absolutely! The Roadmap is a lifestyle-based guide that focuses on changing the behavior and habits that keep you from functioning at your very best. We do encourage that you still follow-up with your primary physician and/or work with a Functional Medicine practitioner as you go through the Roadmap so they can monitor your symptoms and adjust your medications as needed.

3. When is the best time to go on the Roadmap?

Whether you have started your fertility journey or are contemplating pregnancy soon, the Roadmap is a great way for you to prepare your body. We understand that each person’s timeline is different, so we designed the Roadmap to be accomplished within a minimum of 3 months (enough time to go through all the phases). If you want to take your time to have the support for a longer period, we included an option that you can do for 6 months.

4. Can I use the roadmap while I am undergoing the IVF process?

Yes, definitely! The Roadmap adopts an approach that supports your body in producing higher quality eggs, ultimately preparing your body for the IVF journey. At our practice, we've worked with women who were able to conceive using a combination of functionalmedicine and the IVF process.

5. Will I definitely get pregnant using the Roadmap?

No, there is no assurance that the Roadmap or other reproductive program, including IVF, will result in a pregnancy. However, practicing every facet of the Roadmap and making changes in your nutrition and lifestyle can have a positive impact on your fertility and can enhance your potential for conception.

6. Is the Roadmap only for women? Can my husband/partner join me through these changes?

Having a support system and accountability buddy during your fertility journey is an effective way to adhere to habit and behavior changes. Whether your husband/partner has known health concerns or not, having better nutrition, moving more, sleeping earlier, and practicing stress-relieving practices can help optimize sperm quality and increase the chances of successfully fertilizing an egg and having a healthier embryo.

7.  How long will I have access to the Roadmap once I pay for the subscription?

1. How do I create an account and sign up to gain access to the roadmap?

You may click this link Login to be directed to our Roadmap portal. From there, you can create your account and get started on your subscription.

2. What are the technology requirements? (should the roadmap be accessed on a desktop or laptop vs mobile?)

You may access the Roadmap on any web browser on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. Login to your account anytime to start your journey or continue from where you left off.

3. Do I have to be online to do everything in the Roadmap?

Yes, the Roadmap portal is accessed by logging on to a website and as such would require internet connection.

4. What types of activities are included in the Roadmap?

The Roadmap is a lifestyle and behavior change based program to enhance your fertility journey. It is a step-by-step guide that walks you through nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep. There are recipes included to help you transition into better eating, movement tips and links to get you started on incorporating exercise into your routine, breathing exercises to handle stress better, and tips on improving sleep and relaxation.

5.  How much time do I have to commit everyday to accomplish the activities for the Roadmap?

     Will it have consequences if I skip a week or so?

We built the Roadmap to be as thorough as possible while giving you the flexibility of time to incorporate the changes easily and sustainably into your daily routine. You determine your pace, however, we highly encourage consistency to get the full benefits of the program. On days that skipping is unavoidable (because life happens), it is important to remember that getting back on track is better (and kinder) than beating yourself up about “falling off the wagon.”

 1.  How do I pay for the Roadmap? (available payment methods technically)

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal.

 2.  What happens if I want to stop subscription for a particular package in the Roadmap? Will I get a refund?

If you decide to stop your subscription at any point you can get a refund of 50% from the first payment of your installment plan.

 3.  How can I submit a refund request?

You may send a request to info@fertile-ground.co with the subject line “Refund Request.” Kindly allow 1-2 business days for us to get back to you.

 4.  When will I receive my refund?

Kindly allow a minimum of 7 business days for the processing of refunds.

 5.  What should I do if I cannot complete the payment?

If you are unable to complete your payment, kindly email info@fertile-ground.co to pause your subscription. Your access will be limited to the current billing period and you can only pause your subscription once.



PURCHASES

 1.  Can I change my payment method after I have placed an order for supplements?

No, we are unable to change the payment method after an order has already been placed.

 2.  Can I order without an account made for the Roadmap?

Yes. You may checkout as a guest once you are ready to complete your purchase.

 3.  Can I change the type of supplement after my order has been processed?

No. Once your order has been processed changes cannot be made.

 4.  Why was my order canceled due to being ‘out of stock’ but it’s labeled ‘available’ on the website?

Our supplements are shipped from abroad and while we try our best to ensure consistent stocks, there are times when shipment delays can happen. Rest assured, you will be informed promptly if a product is out of stock.

 5.  Do I have to pay a fee when I cancel my order?

There is a lot of work involved in the logistics when an order is canceled, so a cancellation fee of P300 will be applied to any order canceled at your request to cover the extra charges we incur. The fee is deducted from the order refund.

 6.  I just canceled my order. When will I receive my refund?

If your order has not yet been shipped or delivered, we can cancel it and refund the full amount. We will strive to issue a refund within 7 business days of our receiving your request. If you have not received a refund after the 14th business day from the day you sent us your request, please email us for further assistance at info@fertile-ground.co

7.   How do I track delivery for the supplements I ordered?

Once your order has been confirmed and processed, we will email you with your order confirmation and tracking numbers so you can track the location of your order. For express deliveries such as Lalamove or Grab, please expect a text message containing a tracking link for faster and ease of coordination regarding your order.

8.   Who is the official partner for delivery? (or what are the available shipping options - LBC, etc.)

When you place an order, you can choose the delivery options at checkout. Available shipping options include LBC, Lalamove, and Grab.

9.   What are the shipping fees and rates?

Shipping fees and rates vary depending on the selected shipping option. Lalamove or Grab delivery fees will be paid upon package arrival by the customer, which the app determines based on a base fare plus a fixed fee per kilometer.


Delivery charges for LBC are as follows:

NCR: P170.00

Luzon outside NCR: P195

Visaya and Mindanao: P205

10. How do I get free shipping?

We do not currently offer free shipping on any of our supplement orders.
